Our Australian Shepherds are strictly companion dogs. Three Aussies currently reign at Dances with Hooves.

Odie (Ode to the Barkside) is happiest in his roll as farm supervisor & resident couch potato. He keeps an eye on the puppies and makes sure the horses are properly cared for. In addition to those talents, he is one of the best companions we could possibly ask for!

Sydra joined DWH in the summer of 2008. Syd is sweet & snuggly, a class act who loves to retrieve Frisbees. Syd was the star of her puppy training class and we may try our paw at Rally Obedience at some point in the future.

Camden came to live at DWH in the fall of 2008, adopted from a shelter in Camden, SC. She was an owner turn in and in spite of being said to have "behavior issues", we think Cam behaves like an Aussie and that's not an issue! She is very sweet and trainable, also the star of her puppy training class, Cam loves Frisbees more than anything on the planet!
